DTCT participated in the compilation of the national standard "Data Center Infrastructure Construction and Acceptance Standards" GB50462-2024, which has been officially promulgated

Code for Construction and Acceptance of Electronic Information System Room (GB50462-2008) was released in November 2008 and implemented in June 2009. Revised in December 2015 and renamed Code for Construction and Acceptance of Data Center Infrastructure (GB50462-2015), it was issued and enforced in August 2016. For years, this code has played a vital role in the construction and acceptance of data centers. Along with advances in data center technologies and changes in supporting environments, the revision of GB50462-2015 was launched in 2020. The full standard is available for viewing on the official website of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (www.mohurd.gov.cn).

During the revision of GB50462-2024, expert committee members and member units of the Data Center Branch actively participated and offered expertise, setting an exemplary benchmark for the industry. Led by Mr. Zhou Qitong, the standard was jointly drafted by 14 leaders and experts from the Data Center Branch including Cai Hongge, Li Bo, Huang Qunji and Yang Wei. Thirteen member units including China Computer Room Facilities Engineering Co., Ltd., Beijing Kejitong Electronic Engineering Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang DeltaCentre Data Technology Co., Ltd. took part in the compilation of this national standard.

This standard provides guidance for the construction and acceptance of data center infrastructure and serves as a technical basis for relevant works. After implementation, it will effectively standardize the construction and acceptance of data center infrastructure nationwide and offer strong support for the development of digital and smart cities.
