On March 10, experts from Ningbo Bureau of Economy and Information Technology & Organizing Committee of Smart City & Smart Economy Expo visited Datacent for inspection. Jin Jianguo, Deputy General Manager of Datacent, and Fu Xiaojun, Assistant to the General Manager, warmly received the expert delegation. Both sides held a symposium on matters related to the 2022 Smart City & Smart Economy Expo.
Datacent briefed the experts on its development. Over the past five years, under the guidance of Ningbo Municipal People’s Government and Ningbo Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, Datacent has laid a solid foundation. It has realized productization of computer room construction, modularized products, intelligent management & O&M, and energy-saving & low-carbon operation. The company has completed nationwide market expansion starting from Ningbo, developed and released 17 industry-specific solutions for segmented sectors. Going forward, Datacent will expand globally and implement six major strategic deployments.At the 2021 World Digital Economy Conference & the 11th China Smart City & Smart Economy Expo, Datacent exhibited the full-lifecycle solutions for modular data centers and featured products for various industries. The DTCT modular data center series displayed at the Expo integrates scattered traditional computer room systems, software and hardware into one sealed cabinet. One all-in-one unit serves as a micro data room, realizing productized computer room construction, modular products, intelligent O&M and green energy saving, and supports flexible capacity expansion according to customer requirements.
The DTCT modular data center thoroughly upgrades the outdated, scattered and small-scale traditional small & medium computer rooms, featuring the following advantages:1. Highly Integrated & Efficient:It adopts productized engineering. The product innovatively integrates basic data center facilities including power distribution units, UPS, rack-mounted air conditioners, emergency heat dissipation, airflow management, cabling and intelligent management system into a sealed cabinet. A standard cabinet provides stable operating conditions required by all IT equipment and greatly improves internal space utilization. Each cabinet occupies only 0.72 ㎡, saving more than 60% of site space with a neat and attractive appearance.

Rapid Deployment & Plug-and-Play:Modular products are prefabricated at factory in advance, greatly shortening the whole cycle from planning, design to construction, lowering system complexity and enabling rapid deployment for fast business launch. Users can get rid of heavy work on computer room planning and implementation and focus on business development.
3. Unattended Operation & Smart O&M:Intelligentized O&M equipped with intelligent dynamic environment monitoring system. Equipment operation, alarm and security information can be viewed clearly. It supports 24/7 remote monitoring of computer rooms to realize unattended operation. Multi-terminal management is available via PC, mobile APP and cabinet screen for convenient unified control.
4. Energy-saving & Low-carbon for Green Data Centers:Green and low-carbon. Built-in new high-efficiency UPS and air conditioning components make the overall system PUE ≤1.2, saving more than 50% energy compared with traditional solutions.5. Safe, Reliable & Stable Operation:High-grade cabinet access control system supports password, fingerprint and facial recognition to secure data and equipment. Complying with architectural design standards, it realizes seismic resistance, fire prevention, corrosion resistance, waterproofing and wind resistance.The newly exhibited self-developed 'Facility & Equipment Integrated Management and Control Platform of Ningbo Airport Group Co., Ltd.', namely Airport IoT Cloud Platform (Digital Twin), has won consistent recognition from Ningbo Airport for its Phase I construction results and digital reform work. It also represented Ningbo Airport and won the Civil Aviation Industry Science & Technology Achievement Award among civil aviation digital reform achievements.
At the 2022 Smart City & Smart Economy Expo, Datacent will support the Expo with more diversified and three-dimensional display forms.
